Weekend haiku

Lunch walks with a friend
are even more special when
you can find treasures

-----------------------------

Dark spots, blemishing,
aging, it must be rough to
be a banana

Friday haiku

Procrastinating
to go back in, the sun lures
me to be tardy

Thursday haiku

The handsaw she found
couldn't commit murder, but
would help with clean-up

Wednesday haiku

The "knife" Jill found in
the woods was a handsaw; she's
not a gardener

Tuesday haiku

Cathy is not the
sharpest tool in the shed, and
slightly rusty too

Monday haiku

The intervention
for Zeus, all his friends told him,
"Say no to Kracken!"

Weekend haiku

Almost every yard,
every garden, she wants to
stop and help them weed

-----------------------------

His contract ending
on sea monsters, Zeus told us,
"Re-lease the Kracken!"
